The Counter Kidnapping capability is the pinnacle layer of training developed for a select number of AlpinHaus Dogs at the highest levels. This Tier is engineered for Clients who require maximum capability and confidence when it matters most.
What’s Included in Counter Kidnapping Training

Counter Kidnapping starts with the ability for a Parent or Guardian to be able to Send the Family Protection Dog to Guard the child, from a distance, with a single Command. This Command not only springs the Dog into action, it also immediately switches the Family Protection Dog ON… and into Activated Defense Mode. The brilliance of this is that it eliminates the need for any more Commands or instructions to be given to the Dog for it to do its job of guarding the child effectively.
Automatic Dynamic defense
Upon arriving next to the child after being Sent to Guard, the Family Protection Dog will move with the child and defend against the threat automatically and dynamically, so that the threat cannot abduct the child without being attacked by the Dog. Since no leashes are required (they are never required with AlpinHaus Dogs… just merely optional) the child has nothing to do to manage the situation. If the child moves backwards or sideways or falls down or stays still… none of it matters. Our Dog will still stand by, intervene and Protect with its life.
Automatic Multiple-principal dynamic defense
Beyond the powerful capabilities outlined above, our Dogs can also fly between Principals at-risk, automatically and without Command, so that multiple family members enjoy the Protection our Dogs can offer. The fluency of Dynamic Defense that our AlpinHaus Dogs possess is maximized with this capability, enabling multiple family members to move simultaneously, even as the threat also moves, all in real time, while being constantly covered and Protected by the Family Protection Dog.
Scenario-Based Realism
During both development and Client Integration, reality-based training scenarios are identified with our Clients and we train for them accordingly. As is the case with all of our Personal and Family Protection Dogs, we expose our Dogs to and train them in as many different demanding and chaotic situations as possible, so that they are as prepared as possible for the unpredictable… which is exactly what the real-world has a habit of presenting. All of this becomes particularly acute in a Kidnapping context, as the element of surprise will always be present and there may be only seconds available to counter the threat.
