Level I Threat Deterrence is the starting point in the AlpinHaus Protection Dog program. At this level, Dogs are trained to respond to threats through vocal deterrence, not physical defense. With unparalleled real-world Obedience, Socialization and Bark-on-Command capability, your Dog becomes a confident, composed guardian by your side.

What’s Included in Level I Training

Bark-on-CoMmand

At your command—“Pass-Auf!”—your Dog will bark at the individual you’re facing. This signals alertness and control, warning the threat to keep their distance. The barking continues until either the individual leaves or you give the command “Quiet!”.

Elite SOCIALIZATION Foundation

The critical piece to a Family or Personal Protection Dog – the real-world Socialization training and development of the Dog to ensure that he or she is safe and social in life in and out of the home.

Elite Obedience Foundation

This level includes the full suite of AlpinHaus off-leash obedience: heel, recall, sit-stay, down-stay, bed command, and more. The Dog remains attentive, calm, and under control in all situations.

No Bitework

AlpinHaus Dogs as this level are not taught how to engage in physical interventions involving bite work or the advanced combatives our more developed Protections Dogs are trained in.
