At AlpinHaus, our training philosophy goes far beyond what others embrace. We don’t just teach dogs to run and bite someone — we shape them to have unequalled control and adapt and respond under pressure. What Makes Our Training Different
Protection Dogs 2.0 Methodology
At AlpinHaus we interweave Obedience, Socialization and Protection together to create the most sophisticated Protection Dogs in human history. It is the way that we do this that results in our Dogs being so socially well-adjusted in day-to-day life while also having the ability to being turned On and Off and being under control during Protection.
AlpinHaus Defense-First Approach
While other Protection Dogs can only perform while being restrained on a leash, bouncing chaotically out in front of their owners, our Dogs stay positioned beside their Owners and will not attack unless it is in defense of the owner, or otherwise instructed to. This is a massive difference that affords our Clients the ability to fully control what would otherwise be an out-of-control situation.
Off Leash Control
Related to the above point, AlpinHaus Dogs never need leashes to work as protectors. In real-life you don’t ever want to have either yourself or your Dog constrained by a leash. With our training, our Clients have both of their hands free to use, and are never spending their time, energy and focus wrestling with a Dog that is going crazy at the end of a line. Our approach enables people that are not strong enough to be able to handle an aggressive Dog to now be able to pilot them, such as little girls as young as 9 years old, or older individuals above 65, for example.
Combatives
We teach our Dogs not simply how to bite, but how to fight, and win, in a real-world conflict. In the event that one ever has to deploy our Dogs, we want the fight to be over in mere seconds, quickly and decisively, in the favor of our Dogs and our Clients. There is a lot that goes on to ensure that this happens, involving targeting, fighting techniques, scenario-based training and the application of stress and environmental pressure.

Our training levels build progressively, layering Obedience, Socialization, and real-world Protection readiness into each Dog we create.
